Day 10

Well can you imagine my excitement as I woke up this morning to my final day of this cleanse. I can't quite express it, but I have never been so excited to go to the grocery store. I wanted to make sure I had everything I needed for the next few days. You are supposed to get off the cleanse by drinking freshly squeezed OJ and then you move to a homemade vegetable soup. Of course starting on the broth. Well, if you open my fridge you will find a huge stock pot filled with soup and a container of OJ that I made. I also got some probiotics so that I can replace the good bacteria that was flushed out of my intestines during the cleanse. This will aid in the digestive process as well.

No salt water cocktail for me thank you very much! After drinking OJ and soup for a couple of days you can move onto some nuts and salad and then you can resume your normal diet.It says if you have a lot of gas or problems with getting off the lemonade that you should return to the lemonade until your body is ready for food. I'm hoping all will go well for me. I think it will. However they do suggest a vegetarian diet. It's been 10 years since I was on a vegetarian diet. I definitely will incorporate lots of greens into my diet but I don't think I will be cutting out my protein from chicken, fish and turkey. I do want to eat healthier and feel as good as I can though.

So I'm 7lbs lighter and all cleaned out. It's a good feeling. I know this will be something that I will try to do twice a year, I just would like to recover from the memory of this one first!!! LOL! So, if anyone want to come over and eat with me, I have plenty of fresh veggie soup!!!!!! Till tomorrow, smiles!!!!!
