Easter Blessings!!!!!!!!!!

Here we are at church on Easter Sunday. It's been 7 years today that we've been attending CCGV and what a blessing it has been! ccgreenvalley.org

He Is Risen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a glorious day today is for us. Our Savior rose from the dead so that we might live! We celebrated at church today and so many souls were given to the Lord. Service was beautiful and to top it all off Lexi, my 7 year old daughter decided she was ready to accept the Lord as her personal Lord and Savior. Of course it hit me like a ton of bricks! I was overjoyed and so moved by her excitement. They gave all the children in her class today an opportunity to raise their hand if they wanted to accept the Lord and to say the sinners prayer. Lexi said she raised her hand right away and repeated the prayer. This was so wonderful because I have never talked to her about it as I wanted it to be her choice in her own time. There is no greater joy than to see your children walk with the Lord. Although she is young, she loves the Lord in such a pure and childlike way. I pray that she will continue to grow in the knowledge of her Lord and Savior.

Here's Lexi warmly displaying her certificate documenting the day she accepted Christ into her heart. What a precious moment!!!!!!!!!!!!

The fun began Sat with our traditional egg coloring and decorating. The kids had a blast with their kits which contained everything they needed to make some glorious eggs!

This was a great kit for only $1 at Walmart. It had a memory game and lots of stickers appropriate for Easter Sunday. This is a book that we have read for the past couple of years while the children are still young and grasping the concept of Easter and it's true meaning. It's very colorful and playful yet to the point in explaining the true meaning of Easter on a kid's level. Here are some pictures of the kids hunting for all 12 resurrection eggs. If you're looking for some, they have them at Walmart as well as some great t-shirts that have a Jesus theme.

After we took our Sunday afternoon naps, we went to a carnival down the street. Its was a blast!!!
This wave was for you grandma and pop-pop!!!!!!!!!!!!
