Had some time late last night to work on some cards. Lovin ctmh new BITTY BRADS, they are so great for the little flower centers and come in a variety pack of colors.
Used my nestabilities for the scallop circle and just cut off the right end to be flush with the paper. I made this card with simple stamping using some of my favorite CTMH stamp sets "friendship blessing" and "Because of You", ocean ink, chocolate ink, bitty brads, ribbon from Michael's.
Same card in a different color combination: black, white, bubble gum
This is the inside, used the scallop circle nestabilities and paper piercer to make the holes
Another color combination: ocean, white and sweet leaf
Ctmh groovy blossoms, ctmh white big blooms, american crafts ribbon, ctmh chocolate cs, ctmh window charms (the clear apoxy bubble over the flower center), ctmh stamp set "friendship word puzzle" Using up those scraps!!!
And my favorite! This is my take on the card on the cover of Cards. I used making memories noteworthy collection pink ledger paper, ctmh chocolate cs, ctmh stampset "Free Spirit" (flourish), ctmh "from me to you" stamp set, leaves from ctmh "angel whispers" stamp set, chocolate and crystal blue ink, prima flowers, textured green paper, hand cut hearts from cranberry cs, Martha Stewart butterfly punch ( I used orange mulberry paper for the butterfly), stamped the thankyou on a transparency in brown stazon, paper piercer and zig zag scissors for the grass, making memories brad, jewel brad from Joann's. The little bird is from the $ stamps at Michael's.

Chalkboard Technique
Ok, I am so loving this technique. I scoped SCS and found so many inspiring pieces of work. These are inspired by the many creative and talented gals from the gallery.Thought I would try recreating some of them with CTMH products.
TUTORIAL:
1. Use white daisy pigment stamp pad and stamp playful petals and celebrate life onto black CS
2. Using sponge daubers, make up applicators or q-tips gently daub summer chalks on top of the white image until it is covered
3. Use a paper piercer to poke holes around the flower petals and then mount on to watermelon CS
4. Mount onto citrus leaf CS
Ok now you try and let us see what you come up with. Post a link to your creation and I'll post it here!!! Here's another one

Supplies: all CTMH unless noted
Paper: pink carnation, citrus leaf, black cs
Stamps: rustic flowers, playful flourishes, for every occasion
Ink: pink carnation, black
Accesories: flower metal rimmed tag, sparkles, white daisy waxy flax
Other: American crafts ribbon, CB swiss dots embossing folder

More Boom di ada

Sorry I haven't posted, I've been busy catching up with homeschool, appointments and bible study. I finally created the second out of 4 cards for my team swap. What do ya think?
Papers: boom di ada
Stamps: blooming flourishes
accessories: rub n write pen, prisma glitter, white paint, new designer ric rac
If you haven't heard of the rub n write pen, it's a must have. You can write, detail or draw images with this fine tip glue pen and then rub the glitter right over it. Just give the glue a few seconds to dry until just tacky, then rub away!
Here is a piece of random stamped paper that I created with the new Cottage Floral Stamp set.
Stay tuned for the next 2 cards and 9x9 layout!

New Boom di ada!!!!
Here's one of my favs so far in the new catalog. You can order starting May 1 from the new catty. This is a card I'll be submitting for my team swap. I have to make 4 different cards and a 9x9 layout using the new products from the new catty. Here's my first card.
Supplies
colors: hollyhock, barn red, olive, autumn terracotta, buttercup, colonial white
paper: NEW boom di ada paper pack, olive, buttercup, barn red,Hollyhock, colonial white CS
accessories: New designer ric rac, white daisy just blooms paper flowers, liquid glass, prisma glitter, scallop scissors, coluzzle circles
Stamps: NEW Cottage floral, angel whispers
I embossed the olive green with my stylus and paper trimmer
The flower centers are tiny circles cut out with a hole punch from the patterned paper, covered with liquid glass and prisma glitter
On the buttercup circle I curved my stamps on the block to make it border the circle, gotta love the benefits of clear acrylic stamps!!!
